Owner Ed Lipowicz,
building flooring relationships since 1975.

In 2001, Ed Lipowicz brought his operation to Lee’s Summit, MO. His commitment to the customer has blossomed into exponential growth for Flooring and More. While retaining small company values, Ed now employs four full-time sales representatives, two of whom primarily handle inside sales while two primarily handle commercial accounts. Additional staff members help manage everyday business and distribution logistics.

Some of Ed’s most valuable relationships are with his installers. A high-quality group of professionals, the installers partner with Ed and the staff to bring the customer’s vision and purchase to life. Flooring and More’s installers are committed to meeting the needs of the customer in a safe and efficient manner. Similarly, Ed is proud to guarantee and stand behind their work.

While he works extremely hard, Ed finds time to give back to the community. In 2019, he was named Kindest Kansas Citian of the Year by Synergy Services. In 2014-15, he served as president of the Rotary Club of Lee’s Summit. Further demonstrating his commitment to Rotary and its work around the world, he is a ten-time Paul Harris Fellow. Ed is also a recognized supporter of Hillcrest Ministries and their work to change the face of homelessness. Most recently, Ed has given away more than 2,000 area rugs to teachers in and around the Kansas City Metro Area.
